Dr. Parveen S. Vahora is board-certified and fellowship-trained in laparoscopic and pelvic surgeries. Patients visit her office from far and wide to benefit from her renowned expertise in gynecologic procedures. The Medical Center of Trinity, where Dr. Vahora practices, has been designated as an American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery Center of Excellence.

In addition to the da Vinci® Robotic Assisted Hysterectomy, Dr. Vahora offers:

Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy

A laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy is a hysterectomy in which the cervix remains in place. Dr. Vahora removes the uterus using only laparoscopic tools, separating the uterus from the cervix and removing it through one of the abdominal incisions. Similar to the da Vinci® Robotic Assisted Hysterectomy, the laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy has a lower risk and faster recovery times than traditional methods.

Talk with Dr. Vahora about which type of hysterectomy is right for you and your individual needs.

Hysteroscopic Sterilization

This is a tubal sterilization procedure which uses the body’s natural openings—no surgical incisions are necessary. Small implants are placed into the fallopian tubes, promoting tissue growth which block the tubes and prevent pregnancy. If you are thinking about having a sterilization procedure, Dr. Vahora can guide you to which option is right for you.

Endometrial Ablation

This is a procedure which destroy the uterine lining (the endometrium). The procedure is used to treat abnormal bleeding and can be performed in a variety of ways. Dr. Vahora will choose the most appropriate, and least invasive, treatment for your individual needs.

Pelvic Floor Reconstruction

As a board-certified and fellowship-trained physician in pelvic surgeries, Dr. Vahora is highly qualified to perform successful pelvic floor reconstruction for her patients.

Pelvic floor reconstruction can be used to treat pelvic organ prolapse, which is when pelvic floor muscles are weakened or damaged. Pelvic floor prolapse can occur due to childbirth, repeated heavy lifting, chronic disease, or surgery. If you are in need of a pelvic floor reconstruction, Make an Appointment with Dr. Parveen S.
